Bahubali Prabhas has come to run the movies with his cutting edge film Kalki 2898 headway. His film was conveyed on 27 June and is getting a lot of money. The film was nowhere near the mark of RRR (223.5 million) and Baahubali 2 (214.5 million). According to the makers, Kalki has grossed 191.5 million worldwide. Back to Hindi Market Apart from big stars like Prabhas, Kalki 2898 AD also stars some of Bollywood's top stars Amitabh and Deepika. Kamal Haasan is popular among the Hindi audience too. But this film didn't do anything special in Hindi. The record holder for the highest opening day gross in Hindi is Shahrukh Khan's Jawaan. Jawaan grossed 65.5 crores. But in comparison, Prabhas' Kalki could gross only 22.5 crores.
Back to Telugu Kalki is a pan-Indian Telugu film. Though it had a record-breaking start in Telugu states too, it couldn't match RRR (Rs 131.3 crore) and grossed just Rs 65.8 crore at the Telugu box office. In Hindi, it lagged behind Prabhas' Baahubali 2 After Baahubali, Prabhas' Hindi films were a huge success. This film also created a buzz. But according to the hype, Kalki could not make money in Hindi films. Compared to Prabhas' films, Kalki is far behind. Prabhas's Baahubali 2 grossed 41 crore on its first day at the Hindi box office. Moreover, flop Adipurush also grossed 37.25 crore on its first day. Saaho also earned 24.4 crore on its launch, while Kalki only managed to earn 22.5 crore.
